In order to view the restricted lists of children waiting for adoption on the International Adoption Net (IAN) website, you must create a password protected account (IAN Account). Access is provided to IAN's Waiting Child Portal for six months and then it automatically expires. You may request a new access at any time.

By creating this account, you agree to the following terms:

I understand that maintaining the confidentiality of the children listed on the International Adoption Net (IAN) website is of the utmost importance in order to maintain their safety, security and well-being. I understand that by allowing me access to the restricted photo lists of children on the website, that IAN requires that I that keep all information regarding the children confidential.
I agree that I will keep my IAN Account password confidential and will not allow any other individuals to use my IAN Account.
I acknowledge and agree that I will not retransmit, in any form (including but not limited to verbal, written or digital), or repost any content, including photos and text, from the IAN website. I acknowledge that doing so could result in material harm to the children listed on this website.
I acknowledge and agree that I may not produce written or verbal comments regarding any of the children on the IAN website and I acknowledge that any comments made by me regarding a waiting child on this site, that could be considered negative or derogatory by IAN, its partners or agents, or central adoption authorities abroad, may result in legal action against me.
I agree that I will not misrepresent my identity or any personal information when creating my IAN account, and all information is true.
I understand that there is no identifying information (e.g. birth names, dates of birth, exact location of child) available on this site. Identifying information will be provided at time of referral.
In the event that I breach any terms of this Confidentiality Agreement, I understand that my IAN Account will be closed and that IAN may, at its discretion, terminate any and all services contracted with me, including an adoption, and that any fees paid by me will not be refundable. I understand that IAN may pursue legal action against me including compensation for damages.

IAN updates the waiting child list as it receives information from Colombia; however, I understand that children on this list may be placed for adoption at any time without prior notice to IAN. I acknowledge that inclusion on the list does not guarantee a child's availability. If I wish to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a waiting child, IAN will first verify the child's current status before proceeding.

I verify that I am seeking access to IAN's waiting children because I am actively considering international adoption or am already in the process.

I confirm that I meet the following criteria for adopting a waiting child in one of the open programs:

If single, I am between 25 and 59 years old
If married, at least one of us is at least 25 years old and neither is older than 59 years old
If single, I am a US citizen (or at least one of us is if married)
I verify that I or we have no criminal background, have never been convicted of child abuse or neglect, have never dissolved an adoption or illegally rehomed a child, and genuinely believe that I or we have the physical health, financial stability, and emotional capacity to meet criteria to adopt and parent an adopted child.
