IAN International Adoption Net Humanitarian Program

IAN began in 1999 with the stated mission of "Linking Kids with Opportunities." Over the past 13 years, that has meant placing numerous orphans and vulnerable children from all over the world with their "Forever Families."

Over more than a decade of hard work and dedication in many developing nations, IAN has had opportunities to provide medical equipment to hospitals, books to schools, food and tea for day care programs, and so much more, however, the need does not stop there.

With many more orphans in the world, very few are expected to find their "Forever Homes" through the blessing of adoption. This translates to far too many children will remain in need mired in poverty, lacking in even the most basic needs such as food, water, clothing, etc.. With no one to care for them. These children deserve more help! IAN wishes to expand its range and ability to help these children.IAN will answer the call by working in several countries with our Humanitarian Program.

Over the past few years, IAN has working wtih Roots to Wings Africa, on a funding a school in Godere, Gambella Ethiopia. This school will serve as a kindergarten as well as a community center where medical and sanitation needs can be met. The local government in Ethiopia is donating the land for the school as well as the labor to ensure the school is built. To learn more about this project and any other Roots to Wings Project, please visit their website http://rootstowings-africa.org/

IAN is also working with Project C.U.R.E. Our hope is to raise money to send over a freight of necessary medical equipment to a hospital in the Harar region. Harar is where many of our referrals come from therefore, it is a region IAN would like to give back to.

IAN continues to seek ways to make a mark in countries where we have adoption programs as our finances allow. Our hope is that we can impact for children and families in this way.
